Now, one of the funny aspects of this being unabridged audiobook is that, you know, the movies have the opportunity to chop and screw with the story a little bit, to get rid of the goofier scenes.

Not here, which kind of creates... It made the producers have to give the same quality treatment of audio design and really good performances from talented actors to...

the goofy scenes just as much as the iconic scenes and so all of the weird goofy stuff from harry potter that didn't make it into the movies is in here with the same level of quality and i'm talking about goofy scenes like the quidditch world cup in book four like the actual match is nonsense what the hell is that scene yo and i'm just like i kind of understood why they cut it from the movies

With the mascots getting into fistfights.

It's so ridiculous.

Wow.

There's a lot of Quidditch in the first three books.

I was surprised at how much Quidditch there is.

I do like those scenes.

Rowling, I think it's definitely worth mentioning that in this entire discourse around this book, everywhere I go online on forums and stuff,

People don't like that JK Rowling is attached to this project because of her anti-trans views.

She posted, I think, like two essays on her thoughts on this, like a lot of blog posts.

She's very outspoken about her views on the trans community.

And a lot of people just don't want to buy these books because JK Rowling is involved.

They don't want to give her money because she's spreading hate.
