That was his first assist in the league since February, which is crazy when you think of the type of player he is.
But he just looked free, fluid, so silky, so clever on the ball.
Um and when he's playing like that, he's just one of the best attackers in the league.
And um, you know, the the goal was brilliant.
He kind of gives Leno the eyes, makes it look like he's gonna pass it back into the middle and then just rolls it through his legs.
It's so cheeky, it's it's so cold Palmer.
And
And that's all brilliant and they look like they can score at will when they're when they're going forward.
And then there's the other side of it, which is the A just silly decisions at times, lack of game management that still sort of invite the pressure by getting, you know, these stupid bookings early on, Lavier and and Colwell through through poor decisions and
They light in some silly goals and ultimately.
You know, when you're coming down to whether or not this team can challenge for the title, whether this could be the team who who push Arsenal with the lack of European football, you just come back to the goalkeeper, Robert Sanchez, and it's not just the first goal with Josh King, it's also things like just the the the the panic that he transmits through letting that backpass from Josh Achampong run and run and run until it's out for a corner.
It just makes the defence nervy, I think, and the same
second goal, I think, as well is is is something that that comes back to him.
So this is Sanchez's fourth season as Chelsea's number one and it just feels like he's been an issue for all of that period and and and it's something that they're going to need to fix.
Mm-hmm.
Uh whether that's Mike Penders who's this this Belgian goalkeeper, young young keeper who they've got a lot of high hopes for, or whether it's someone else coming in before the end of the season uh before the end of the window, I'm not sure, but it it feels like
I he is the big block between whether or not they could
Just be a top four contender or or maybe challenge for the title.
Anyone asked or what's the the thinking?
Yeah, I mean th they they they've got this head of goalkeeping, Ben Roberts, who who came from Brighton and obviously has a a longstanding relationship with with Robert Sanchez, who, like many players for who Chelsea have signed, it comes from Brighton.
