And it is a chatbot that you can go back and forth with and ask questions of and get it to do your homework and all the stuff that you can do with chatbots.
Now, over the weekend...
Elon Musk released a new update.
Grok three is the latest one.
And that's the one that's, that's out here spewing all of this mess.
And so what seems to have happened and we don't know, right.
But what seems to have happened is that Grok took its instructions very literally.
And one of the instructions that it took over the weekend was a, an admonition that basically the, the company, sorry, that it can, um,
get into politically incorrect ways
as long as it can substantiate its arguments.
Basically, there's this list that you can look at, in fact, that are the guidelines given to Grok by, you know, sort of at the highest level by its creators.
And it says things, this is your name, your X handle is at Grok, here is your task.
You know, it's basically instructions for this robot.
And then one of these had been, you can say politically incorrect things as long as you can substantiate them.
And that may have been the source of this, is that it started to delve into what it knew to be politically incorrect stuff.
That has been removed as of last night, Tuesday evening.
They took down that guideline because clearly it's off the rails, right?
So we're in this situation where when you try to turn the dial and get it to go one way or another, it goes, you know, buck nuts, right?
Which is what we are absolutely seeing here.
So we've seen this before with Grok back in, I think it was May.
