I said, here's my idea.

Yeah.

He's still my, he's still, he's still my agent and, and went back.

And, you know, when I, when I got the contract, that was, I started, I started crying.

So,

Yeah.

I can understand why when people build it, they don't want one or they get in the door and then they leave their agent.

But we have such a great relationship and he's outside of just the books.

He's helped me with a lot of other things.

I got an advance, but it still wasn't, you know, it wasn't some super great advance or anything like that.

Yeah, I had sold the books.

Jack was supporting me.

He wrote the forward to it.

You know, I'd done a Ted youth talk by then I was starting to pick up momentum.

Um, so it was a combination of that.

Look, this, this kid went out and sold books on his own.

Um, he's a, he's a, you know, he's a viable investment, I guess.

Well, I wrote the book because, you know, I want to influence people's lives.

You know, you can, I know a lot of people that make a lot of money and they hate their jobs, you know, so I want to make sure that my job feels good.

You know, service is the cause, income is the effect.
