It's a pleasure to be here, Matt.
I am, yeah.
Yeah, I started January 1st.
Yeah, it's an amazing thing to have been a part of and to be a part of is the development of this continuous glucose sensing technology.
Starting way back in 1999 when the company was founded, I joined in 2004.
And the idea was to try and figure out how do you build this continuous biosensor that can accurately measure glucose.
And the whole goal was to make managing diabetes easier.
And so I joined as an engineer.
I had some particular talent in antenna design and electrical engineering.
And so I joined and I was one of the only electrical engineers at the company.
There was about 30 people there when I joined.
The vast majority of the folks at the company were all focused on developing the technology.
We had no marketing, no sales.
We didn't even have a product yet.
And over the years, we continue to make the technology better and really innovate on making the product more reliable, more accurate and easier to use for customers.
And that's been a journey.
We're now in our seventh generation of technology in the market.
We're working on our eighth generation.
And so it's really been an incredible opportunity to have such an impact on the lives of people that live with diabetes.
