you know you're leaving you're leaving huge amount of efficiency on the table there and I can understand it because it's realistically are you going to put in two chiller plants are you going to split the the chilled water loops up you know that is very very expensive to do and and very time consuming and it's not really feasible for a lot of designs as you know customers are looking to build quickly and if telling them they've got to run two chilled water loops isn't is not a quick deployment so
it's it's been more about kind of what other ways are there to do that so what we've done is our traditional um indirect cooling units that that mount along the perimeter wall we've taken that philosophy and what that's done is it's allowed the full air side cooling system to be handled by those units so all of your chiller plant for your your liquid cooling
you can bring the temperatures up there.
So you're not having to run 18 degrees Celsius to do air side cooling for fan wall units.
You can run that at the elevated liquid temperatures.
You can run that at 30, 32 degrees Celsius on the facility water system because all of your air side cooling is handled by indirect cooling units.
That in itself,
means that your overall peak PUE is going to go down, which means that you've got more MVA available on site for IT load rather than cooling.
And the whole system, the whole picture just joins that little bit neater.
So we try not to introduce too many new products or new ideas, but just a little bit, you know, nothing too crazy, nothing too foreign.
Yeah, just enough to keep people innovative.
Because, yeah, go on.
all the way through to cost efficiency.
I mean, think about the amount of heat rejection plant you're able to strip out if you're running at 45 degree water.
You know, Jensen Huang of NVIDIA, he came out and said, you know, we're going to have, we don't need water chillers anymore.
And, you know, if we're, you know, depending on where in the world that is, that is feasible.
If you're running, you could run adiabatic dry coolers as a heat rejection for huge parts of the world.
You know, most, most,
kind of middle of the road wet bulbs in the us are around 28 degrees celsius you know you can run adiabatic dry coolers on the hottest only the hottest days of the year and then run fully dry most of the year and if you're not having to put refrigeration system in you're not having to worry about global warming potential of different refrigerants you're not having to worry about the costs associated with putting in refrigeration plant
um the level of labor uh on site the skill level is isn't quite so high for high complex refrigeration works um the the cost of actually building all that plant both environmental costs and and financial costs of building on that plant goes down so pushing temperatures up be that liquid and on chip temperatures or you know space air temperatures pushing those pushing those uh temperatures up um has such a positive effect on the industry
