Yeah, I'll respond to Pastor Corey because Corey was on judiciary, so she probably got a lot more tea than I have.
But the thing that disgusted me about Congress when I was there
is all talk, no action.
And everything is about rhetoric and everything is about theater and everything is about political jostling.
But as it relates to regular working class, everyday Americans, I didn't feel we were doing nearly enough to support them and nearly enough to support.
You know, we have this mythology of what America is supposed to be, this mythology of this liberal democracy.
And we as black folk know that's never been the case.
But they still try to force that lie down our throat while supporting horrible policies that benefit the wealthy, horrible policies that benefit the military, the police, the jails, all of it.
So it's a lot of talk, no action.
It's a lot of rhetoric.
And it's really sickening.
to be in that place.
But I know Corey got more tea on judiciary and oversight.
