And so I really enjoy the job that I have the privilege of doing, but I also have a tremendous balance and I care about nothing more than my happiness.

And so I believe that pleasure should be my main focus in life.
And that's everything that I
Pleasure for me personally, and I think it's completely different for everyone, but ultimately it's peace.
Ultimately, peace is pleasurable, but also delicious food, treating my body kindly, not denying myself, not starving, not masking, obedience as discipline,
It means spending time with my loved ones.
It means laughing a lot, like belly laughing every single day, spending time with my animals, spending time with my boyfriend, orgasms, seeing beautiful things.
I was raised to believe that there is this sort of point system, and it's ironic that I made The Good Place, which is actually a show about the point system, that you believe that we're raised, especially if you're raised religiously, to believe that
Well, life is just the bit that you get through and you do as well as you can because the afterlife is going to be so great.
And I stopped really feeling confident about an afterlife in my teens.
And so after that, I started to think...
I don't think I want to live my life for this utopian guarantee.
And I had a near-death experience when I was 15, I think.
