And I think that might be even better.
I don't think I've ever made that distinction before, but I think that's how I feel.
And also confidence can be destabilized, but it's much harder to destabilize someone's inner comfort with themselves.
Yeah, it feels very subjective.
Whereas there's something objective about comfort.
I'm objectively comfortable and there's something subjective and shaky about the idea of confidence.
So I think that's why I don't negotiate with it.
I don't think I'm good at anything.
And I'm fine with that because it's not my fault that other people hire me.
