And granted, there are a lot of factors that are creating these all-time highs in the cattle market, whether it's the 10-year cattle market cycle or
There is a ban on beef from Mexico, from the New World Screw Worm, and then the tariffs on Brazil.
But we're finally getting a wage that we can make some inputs into our own farm, afford things, and here we are just receiving the blunt end of the stick at the end of things.
Well, and these haphazard comments are constantly affecting the market.
And I've said this over and over.
Please do not, at least from the government side, do not say comments or do make actions that are going to affect our market.
Every action that is taken on the government side will affect the markets in one way or another, whether it's up or down.
And we are the recipients of that.
And so-
And having some caution when saying the things that you're saying, I think is really important.
I was just going to say, I'm all for negotiating new markets and increasing the markets that we have and forming trade deals, but we're actively seeing bullying
of other countries and bullying us out of markets.
And when I think about that, I'm thinking about my future in farming and how am I going to be able to afford my own farm, my own land and without negotiating markets that
can increase the price of row crops or cattle significantly so that I don't have to resign to being a tenant farmer my whole life, then we're not doing justice for the young farmers or the future farmers that will be inheriting this land inevitably.
