And, you know, AI doesn't have any of those issues.
It can process unbelievable amounts of data in a very short time.
It can make sort of quick decisions.
It can look at whole heaps of data.
It can find patterns.
So I think there's probably no doubt that AI probably already can outperform humans.
I mean, I've seen experiments where levels of accuracy versus human surgeons is as good, if not better.
And it's happening remotely as well.
So I don't think we need to go to a place where AI is replacing doctors entirely.
So I hope I wouldn't have to pick between the two.
My politician's answer...
I think if you really forced me to do it, I think I probably would still pick the human today.
That might sort of change in time.
I think just because of all those slightly unwritten, perhaps undervalued skills that AI can't do, which are very human things, particularly around quite sensitive things or...
tough conversations or things like that.
I think I'd rather have the doctor of 20 years at the moment.
Of course, I agree.
Yeah, I think as ever, I think the combination of human brilliance sort of enhanced and backed up by AI, I think it's a pretty good combination.
It's sort of hard to see beyond that.
