I think on paper it's uh an amazing problem to solve.
Uh, because you're right, it it could be sort of the world-class um case study of how you sort of save time with AI.
Uh, Health Watch England says that 27 different AI scribes or AI note takers are already being used across hospitals uh and GP practices.
So they're automatically taking that consultation or that meeting where they see a patient.
And it's turning it into notes.
The problem is, is they're not entirely accurate, which in this game, accuracy is mega, mega important.
In one example, AI dropped the word null from an MRI result.
So by dropping the word null, uh, you effectively give it the opposite result of what actually came out.
There was another example where it confused two very similarly named medicines, which for the sort of
of for the normal person, you know, these things can all look very similar, but AI can't distinguish between the two.
And there was another that recorded a doctor telling someone to continue taking Prozac when Prozac hadn't even been prescribed in the first place.
Very poor handwriting as well.
So, you know, there'll be stuff that slips through the net there.
Um, not not entirely sure on the numbers, uh, but look, there's a paradox here, isn't there?
Sort sort of unintended consequence.
Your brilliant thing at the start, which is like God, look how much time they can save.
Actually, if doctors have got to go through and reread all the stuff that the AI has created, you're actually probably gonna take more time doing that.
