It was so overwhelming, he almost immediately conceded.
That's what we got to do.
We got to have an overwhelming participation in all these elections, and they must start right now in these primaries.
And as you know, as I said earlier, you've already started redrawing the lines, suspending the elections, doing what they can to rig a result before the vote never starts.
In fact, someone said almost the same thing to me on the floor today.

I thought he was from California.
He represents California.
But he came to me on the floor just an hour or so ago and told me he was born and raised in Massachusetts.
And he talked to me about a conversation he had with John Lewis just a few steps from where we were standing.
And he said to me, I've been thinking about John ever since the Supreme Court, he said that opinion, and he just kept shaking his head.
And he just happened to be white, but he is in the struggle with us.
And that's the kind of thing that I'm talking about.
There are a lot of people out there who may not look like us, but they feel like we feel about this pursuit of a more perfect union.
And we have got to do the things that are necessary to bring them into this fight.
Don't be pushing them away.
We got to have all the help we can get going into this election this year.
And we must do it in John's name.
