While the local elections are taking place, I shall be over 4,000 miles away, sleeping in a yurt by the shores of Lake Izikul in Kyrgyzstan.
I will miss the insightful analysis, the eclectic group of contributors and the wonderful humour.
But I have to admit, I'm looking forward to some time off disconnected from the current news cycle.

And astonishingly, Mike, our lovely engineer, who is in charge in the studio recording this, has been to Lake Izzikul in Kyrgyzstan and has slept in a yurt.
Well, no, I ruined it that time.
It does sound a bit like Izzikul.
