But anyway, it was um I'll tell you the clip I was trying to find, Adam, was a moment where in my memory, a guy in the audience says, Mark my words, if Scotland votes against independence, in the next few years, Boris Johnson will be prime minister and will have left the European Union.

Scotland can't have the pound and Alex Hammond said it's a tradable currency.

Scotland can use the pound if it wants.

And that was sort of it, but it wasn't really it, was it?

Yeah, but my ref my recollection of that, Adam, was that Mark Carney was really quite careful when he m gave that speech in Edinburgh to give something to the other side as well, in terms of saying, Well, uh and of course an independent Scotland could I forget the exact phrase.

I I wouldn't like to be quoted on it, but I remember Alex Salmon that night saying that was good for us.

Like they thought that day was going to be really bad, and and the Better Together campaign said that day was really good for us.

And thought that was you know, he he was happier than you might have expected after that Carney speech.

Boris Johnson did become Prime Minister.

I mean, Adam, just just on the thing that you mentioned at the end of the last episode, we we talked about this huge chunky document, um, the the white paper that the pro-independence side produced.

I think what happened as a result of that is that the focus relentlessly be from the media, and this includes, to be self-critical, the BBC, um who were very criticized by some supporters of independence and

And they're still criticized in some quarters of the state of the case.
