And then but the debate was far more utilitarian, wasn't it, on both sides?
I mean, uh wasn't it a I would say a lot more of the debate was about whether Scotland was thriving within the Union, whether it would do better as an independent country, or vice versa.

I think there was, but I think what's interesting looking back on it now, Adam, is if you talk to people who were ardent supporters of the union in 2014, um
They they have a in some of them have a very different perspective.
I mean, I think broadly speaking, L Lorna's right, and it's not a political point you're making, of course.
And and there was this atmosphere of excitement.
And even from those who opposed independence, they were out there and they were engaged and they were fired up and they were discussing it.
But there's definitely a sense, I think, when you talk to people now who opposed independence then of they say, Oh, it was a bad time.
It was a depressing time, families were developing.
Divided, the nation was split, um, the risks, you know, we we we we became a place of of of argument and unpleasantness and rancor.
And so there's definitely, definitely different perspectives as to how that that that time played out.
Yeah.
But I think both can exist.
Like I I think both, you know, both of those things can exist.
And in the end, it's definitely the case that the yes campaign were.
noisier and more visible than the people who voted against them.

Well, I would say about that that they were very keen to stress that this was not just the Scottish National Party.
