The White Sox side of the equation was just saying, yeah, we really need that breakthrough.

Miguel Vargas said post-game, it kind of felt like a win.

We needed that, which in previous years, in 2024, you'd think, oh man, how pathetic that they view just getting a single hit as a victory.

This is where they're at.

But then they come around on their offense and they kind of research who they are the next game, where...

They didn't have a hit for the first three innings against Emmett Sheehan, but talking to Colson Montgomery postgame, they really kind of figured out what he was doing differently to him the couple trips to the order and were able to finally pounce like they...

you really get to a point where, and a little bit true with Yabamoto, maybe until like the seventh or eighth where it's like, yeah, this team has been down before, but they have so many comeback wins.

They have so many times that the offense has exploded late.

You really can't rule it out.

It probably wasn't until he was getting through really efficient innings in the seventh and eighth facing the guys like, you know, the top of the lineup the third time through or when a couple of lineouts from Miguel Vargas and Colson Montgomery find gloves that you're like, all right, he might really do this because like you kept thinking like,
