But certainly with the roster as a whole, it feels like there's got to be two or three more corresponding moves for how it really fits.
That maybe you'll make a ton of sense in five hours in a way that you can't quite see the full vision just yet.
I mean, I think they certainly get set outright, like we expect to do something catcher-wise.
So...
That's pretty firm as far as trade speculation, or at least saying a future move is going to happen.
Certainly, I think, especially with how they've talked about Kyle Thiel, I would expect them more in the rental market than the Adley-Rutchman sweepstakes, per se.
And that leads you more to Tyler Stevenson or Luis Torres.
But you've heard so much about the Mets saying they don't want to move Luis Torres.
And Stevenson has become kind of this...
highly bid upon uh commodity in such a market that's you know catching his goal as chris gets has put it in the past but just like there's just not that many uh clear candidates for someone who's going to come in and be an immediate upgrade like their bats are so variable as we've seen kind of with this year with jeromo looking like kind of an offensive savior um you know at one point in the season and now looking more like all right we need something to upgrade he frames fine but we need somebody who hits a bit more than this uh to move in while all teals out so i would think rental catcher
Um, that said, like I'm along for the ride, like everyone else, man.
Uh, I, my flight out of Tampa got canceled and, uh, I had to reschedule her 5am this morning.
I was like, I'm going to go to bed at 11 and wake up, uh, at 3am to go out.
And in that four hour pocket of time, they managed to swing another trade.
So these people are, I, I, I can't reason with the office.
They are active, uh, beyond, uh, what, uh,
you know, we've been used to in the last, you know, three, four years.
I mean, I think it makes sense in terms of, you know, the Sir Anthony Dominguez certainly been moved out of high leverage, but his stuff is still good.
He still misses bats.
And I think probably the best version that bullpen had, he stayed involved some kind of swinging back and forming, getting that mix.
