So electrons don't directly interact with each other.
They can indirect indirectly interact with each other through like scattering off charged particles.
But they don't directly interact with each other because they're electrically neutral.
So they don't themselves feel the electromagnetic magnetic force in that sense.
Whereas gluons have a color charge and therefore they do directly interact with each other.
So that makes the force much more complicated.
Hated.
The strong force also has a very short range.
Uh, this is related to a concept called color confinement.
The strength of the strong force differs depending on the uh distance.
I mean, that's true for electromagnetic force, but in the case of electromagnetic force and gravity, there's an inverse square law.
So basically, just the further away you go, uh the further away are two charged particles, the less is the force that they experience between each other with a and it decreases by a factor.
Of one over R squared, which is sort of a very simple relationship.
For the case of the strong nuclear force, there is no simple relationship.
It dep the the nature of the force depends on the distance.
Beyond a certain point, if you keep moving, if you imagine taking two quarks that are um bound with the strong force and then move them further and further apart, at some point the the strength of the force between them actually starts to increase with distance, which which is very strange if you think.
Think about in terms of electromagnetism, we never see that in electromagnetism.
The force always decreases with the distance.
But for in the strong nuclear force, beyond a certain point it actually increases with the distance.
And this means effectively that beyond a certain point, it's just impossible to pull them further apart because you you need forces that are too large.
