And if he trusts the players that are around him, when we had Shea Charles, who we had on loan from Southampton, phenomenal footballer, by the way, when they was playing in that midfield as a two, again, he trusted Shea Charles to do what he needs to do.
And that allowed Barry Bannon to play further forward.
And then he is picking out those killer passes.
He's threading the passes between the centre-backs for the striker to run onto and stuff like that.
So that's where I...
prefer Barry Bannon playing much further forward and yeah you mentioned about playing in the Premier League there me personally I don't think he's probably going to if you get there I don't think he'll get a shot in the Premier League he'll probably get farmed out to another championship side because they'll just look and think well
but i don't got millwall to the premier league then maybe they can do that for us so like a you know a middlesbrough type type side or i would have said a west brom but i don't think they um i don't think you'd go there he's linked to aston villa but you know i mean another side that's up there challenging uh with the playoffs i don't think he'll if he gets the premier league i don't think he'll he'll play there but you never you never know he's um
He is a special player.
I was going to say Arbaz, but he's not really going to be Arbaz for much longer, is he?
Yeah, so obviously at the point where he signed a new contract, we weren't in administration.
That came in October, but we were under numerous transfer embargoes.
And to put you in the picture, and this is something that he has actually said himself, we actually, I say we, as Sheffield Wednesday Football Club, had a...
had an option to extend his contract at the end of last season.
What the club did, or should I say what our previous owner, Depon Chancery, did, is he didn't exercise that option to extend his contract.
That then meant that his contract expired and then they renegotiated a deal.
Because we were then under a transfer embargo and all the fee restrictions under the sun, we could only offer him ยฃ7,000 a week, which to me and you was probably quite a lot of money, to a footballer that was on probably in excess of 20 at this point.
It's quite a big cut.
And when you said about is it a big decision to make, well, he waited until two days before
the opening game of the season against Leicester to actually sign the new contracts.
We were heading into that game thinking, we're not going to have our club captain for this game.
