He's not even playing at the moment.
He's apparently injured.
He hasn't scored in about nearly two years.
And he's on over 20 grand and he's just streaming on Twitch.
So I think Barry Bennett hasn't quite said that.
But me personally, I'd be a little bit peeved off if that's happening.
You're grafting your...
grafting your little knackers off to try and do something for the football club and other people aren't.
So, yeah, he must have found it incredibly difficult.
And, you know, you just, you saw, I'm sure you'll have seen the scenes at Bristol City at the weekend where, you know, he heads over to the Wednesday fans in that away end and,
he breaks down in tears and stuff and apparently he spoke to the players on the friday and told them that this will be his last game this weekend and and the same thing happened there you know he breaks into tears so yeah this club means a lot to him and i personally i think he should have left in the summer like i'm you know if i take my blue tinted glasses off just purely looking at from a man to man you know i just he should he should have left i don't think he should have stayed
He was never going to keep this football club afloat.
We were always going to get relegated, and I didn't really want that on his CV again.
So, yeah, he should have gone in the summer, but I've got no qualms for him leaving in the manner that he's going to do this time around.
Yeah, I'd prefer it if he went to a club that we have already played twice, if I'm being perfectly honest, and certainly not one that we're going to have to play at Hillsborough.
But yeah, it's going to be weird.
Honest answers, I have no idea.
I don't know.
I did a watch-along at the weekend and I nearly broke down in tears twice, which I didn't think would happen.
That was mainly down to the fact that I think Friday I'd kind of sorted myself out and thought, yeah, he's gone, that's it, finished.
