And then there was a whisper that, you know, Millwall hadn't made a formal approach of thinking, wait a minute, there's a chance.
Is he staying?
Is he actually going to stay?
And then when he came off on 89 minutes and shook everyone's hand, and it wasn't too much that, it was other players were kind of running towards him to make sure that they shook his hand.
And that kind of set me off.
And then when he walked over to the away end, that was quite emotional as well.
And do you know what, I'd...
A lot of people, including myself, are saying, why has it not happened at a home game?
Why is his last game?
We played Birmingham in midweek.
Why weren't it announced before then that this was going to happen?
But I honestly think it was Barry Bannon's decision for it to be this weekend and not a home game.
We play Wrexham this coming Saturday.
he's that type of person he isn't uh you know he's not a very you know um he don't like a lot of attention that's the impression that i get i don't know sounds mad playing you know playing for sheffield wednesday and being club captain but i don't think he he wanted wanted all that so it's going to be interesting to see what he's going to be like and i've i've been thinking about this you know over the over the weekend really in terms of
what would it be like with Millwall?
Would he say, I don't want to play this game?
Would he say that... Because it would be very, very difficult for him.
And I don't know.
I mean, if I was from a Millwall perspective, I'd be saying, we've signed you, you're playing.
Or you're at least, whether that's off the bench or whatever it may be.
