So sprinkling in these joints is certainly uh

a key piece to our approach in the lead up to the season and you get to ensure that you're getting some specific looks and scenarios presented in this setting that you otherwise couldn't control in a preseason game itself.

So much of what we find ourselves talking about is responses at this point in sort of the build up to the season.

And so when you have a play that ends up not going your way or you have a series that ends up not looking the way that you would want it to, uh what's the next one look like?

You know, what's the next outing for us look like after stuff that we needed to get cleaned up, uh presents itself again to actually show whether or not it does and you know, as with

think back to even our first preseason week a year ago today against Pittsburgh Steelers.

You know, that's really where we turned our attention.

Was what's our response to this outing gonna look like?

Is it gonna be what what we want the next step to to show itself to be?

And and so that's certainly what we'll like to apply here in the in the real action come this weekend.

Yeah, we've used that in the past when it was uh hard uh data percentiles to attach to it.

Obviously uh you know, a year ago today we didn't have a a subset of uh playtime percentages from the preseason for like undrafted college free agents to lean on.

So it wasn't something that we could we could sort of highlight as a part of that.

Yeah, it's exactly what it's like.

But you

That's exactly right.

And and even through that lens, right, last preseason we did give our uh first guys, second guys uh a little bit more run uh than what we would have typically done.

And so I I think this time through what you're probably leaning on more in some of those discussions is hey, there was uh a few guys that earned places on our active roster and it was related to the opportunities uh that they were given throughout the course of the preseason.

and training camp itself.

But yeah, moving forward when you're not having your starters, first team and you know, impactful contributors playing in those preseason games and guys know walking in the door that they're gonna get a high volume of snaps in preseason games which the thirty one other teams get exposed to, uh that can certainly act as a healthy recruitment tool um because hey, they're not only trying out for you, but they're trying out for a lot of other a lot of
