But I find it hard to believe that you would qualify her Australian-ness based on her skin color or like her Indian heritage, but that you would look at a guy who is like me, say for example,
now it just so happens that i have irish blood so i am technically half anglo-celtic and but my other half comes from holland imagine if i was both of my ancestors were from holland but i'm still just sitting here in front of you talking with an australian yes yes so i like to always say as well that the anglo-celtic and or european culture because i think that's what we're built off so anglo-celtic european culture
But would you say that Indigenous people built the country?
Yeah, but Australia is about the people and the culture, not about the land.
So just because they happen to be on the same geographical parcel of land, how does that mean that they're Australian?
Because she's on the land too, but you would say she's not.
No, but neither did the indigenous people.
They just happened to be here, just like she happens to be here.
