And Christianity and Christian civilization was a pretty obvious one for them.

And that was part of the attraction.

Do you think that's part of it?

So we've been speaking about the appeal of Christianity to conservative young men.

And we know from statistics that young men are more likely to be conservative than young women and young women more left wing.

Is there a corollary to this story?

Are there things that young women on the left are finding in Christianity that might find a bit of a counterpoint to that story about conservative young men and orthodoxy, for instance?

I'm also really interested to get you to talk about your personal journey, like where you started out with Christianity when you began looking into young people getting interested in religion and how your views on Christianity developed as you went on that journey.

And for you, what was the thing that began to seem attractive about Christianity, having come in as basically an outsider?

And I'm kind of interested to know why for you and for the people who you were talking to, it was specifically Christianity.

I know that other people have said to me something similar is going on in Buddhism.

You are getting converts to Islam in like some universities.

What was distinct about Christianity as opposed to other religions, I guess, for you and the people you're talking to?

That's your career sorted forever.

Do you eat Abrahamic religion forever?

The last question I wanted to ask you was that for people like me, who I think are basically never going to believe in God, never going to become Christians, barring some dramatic conversion experience, is there anything that we can get out of Christianity or the kinds of Christianity that you've explored that we might be able to benefit from without necessarily having to believe in God?

I found it extremely interesting.

And the thing that really struck me was, again, what I was saying, that I'd assumed this was like a cultural thing.

They liked the music.

People wanted a community.
