What he brings is, you know, you know, he's kind of on the other side of the equation that you're not going to find anyone saying anything bad about Matt Sundin.
He's going to bring a lot of, you know, integrity to the role and he's going to bring an understanding of what it means to be a Toronto Maple Leaf.
he's going to have sort of an outsider perspective as well, because he hasn't been in North America for nearly 20 years since he retired.
He's been over in Sweden, raising his family and he's been really kind of out of the mix.
And, you know, there had been talk about him coming in as an advisor or some kind of a role the last year or two.
I didn't know when I, I don't think thought it was going to be quite this prominent, but it's, it's going to be interesting to see how the dynamic works.
And, and I, frankly, if it works between Sundin and Chayka and,
It reminds me a lot.
I mean, you guys can correct me if I'm wrong.
It reminds me of the Trevor Linden situation where the, you know, the cadets brought him in and didn't have experience in the front office.
And I see a lot of parallels there.
You know, I don't know.
Was the structure of that different?
And, and I think it was four years or something.
And Trevor Linden looked at it and said, you know what, what we're doing is not going to work and we need to go a different direction.
And they wouldn't listen to him and he left.
So, I mean, I could, it, that could happen here.
