Celebrating Binchy's literary legacy and then as you mentioned already, kind of marking fifty years since the band formed, um

You two will be on a two Euro coin, uh, which will launch at the end of September.

Um and

I am assuming the whole band will be a one coin, they're not getting a coin each.

This isn't like the Westlife stamps.

Westlife all on their stamps?

I don't know.

Uh uh

Anyway, uh the bank of the U two's music and live shows have inspired generations around the world uh for for decades, and Mave Binchy is going to to appear on a

fifteen euro silver proof coin, which is going to launch at the beginning of of October.

Um and you know, she's she's obviously one of of Ireland's most celebrated authors, having sold like you know tens of millions of books world worldwide um and sort of created like absolutely unforgettable kind of stories um that that that sort of continue to have have relevance.

Both are going to be uh available at collectorcoins.ie and I always think that collector coins uh and it perhaps it's because of the Trump effect where he's like putting his face and everything and then trying to sell it.

I'm like, is this a scam?

But no, it is legit.

Um and obviously d you know, we have marked and and we have celebrated um we we've we've marked and and celebrated

uh kind of Irish figures in the past, like over over the last kind of several decades in this way, like Sean O'Casey, George Bernard Shaw, Luke Kelly, uh, Phil Linnet all have kind of have been celebrated in this way before.

So I think it is it's a nice way to mark someone who has like made a a real lasting um impact on on on Irish society, I guess.

Do you know, I don't know that I need that on my resume.

Um I would probably feel honored if someone was to suggest it.
