It makes you a bit quirky.
It makes you a bit different.
It also gives you a lot of power.
And I absolutely love that Denise is, you know, taking it and running with it.
Knocked it out of the park.
10 out of 10.
Send it to Eurovision.
Yes.
Yeah.
So, I mean, I think Eurovision has, for a lot of people, Eurovision has becoming progressively more difficult to engage with over the last couple of years and the last two song contests while the conflict in Gaza was ongoing.
were particularly difficult to sort of watch because it had a real Hunger Games quality to it.
This sort of, you know, over the top kind of explosive sort of performances happening while there was like real death under instruction being carried out by one of the people who were participating.
And, you know, people have talked about the sort of the art washing element of it, which I think is definitely kind of something that you can clearly see that this was something that was important to the Israeli government.
But anyway.
Eurovision Song Contest is rolling out some new voting and promotion rule changes following backlash last year over Israel's strong public vote results.
So it's around the concerns of political interference, predominantly built around a sort of a massive international push by Israel, the government of Israel, to promote their entry in last year's Song Contest to try and get it votes.
And
The fans are now going to, so the votes, or the way that they're changing, the new rules they're bringing in, so fans are now going to get fewer votes, juries are coming back to the semi-finals, and broadcasters are now going to be banned from taking part in government-backed promotional campaigns that will be kind of above and beyond the natural kind of promotion that you'd expect to have.
for sort of a competition or a show like this and this is obviously we'll see whether this works out because at the moment there are several countries who have kind of drawn a line in the sand and say well look we're not going to be back to Eurovision unless Israel are not and unless there's like some significant changes so at the moment or up until now fans have had 20 votes that they could cast through the app or whatever form they were going to
during the voting process on the finale and during the two semifinals.
