So following that extremely light roast, the snowflakes in the Trump administration said it had been hateful and violent that he had said

that he had made this joke about the death of President Trump.

He was essentially inciting hatred against the Trumps through making this joke.

Melania posted on X, his words are corrosive and deepens the political sickness within America.

And Trump posted on Truth Social calling it a call to violence and demanded that Disney and ABC fire Kimmel immediately.

Kimmel has kind of come out and essentially said, go away.

This is ridiculous.

Like, why are you focusing on this when there is so much else going on in the country?

And he just said it was a it was not a call to violence.

It was a very light roast.

And it wasn't something that kind of in any way kind of, you know, went as far as some of the things which Donald Trump himself has said about different people when he was celebrating the death of Rob Reiner a couple of months ago, when he was sort of

has been sort of speaking very violently about his political opponent.

So I think it's in this ecosystem at the moment where I suppose people are kind of seeing things more clearly for what they are.

I think people are less inclined to be on the side of the Trumps and the Melanias in the general than maybe they would have been

a couple of years ago where probably there would have been an expectation that Jimmy Kimmel would come out and apologize and say, oh, I didn't mean it that way.

Yeah.

It's the last day for that, so coming up very soon.

I think it will be such a loss.

Stephen Colbert going will be such a loss because for him and for Jimmy Kimmel, I think they can translate some of these higher concepts into much more easily consumable things for kind of a mass audience.
