Yes, it is.

So we were obviously all extremely excited earlier this year when the White Lotus cast was announced and Helena Bonham Carter was kind of like...

front and center within that cast announcements.

Now, I have to say, you know, maybe this is foreshadowing, maybe this is just me sort of thinking that I'm special, but I always wondered whether Mike White would know what to do with Helena Bonham Carter.

I think that he is amazing for writing for these over-the-top American women, but I always questioned whether

He would be able to kind of draw a character.

Like, did he just look at her as kind of the Tim Burton crooky woman?

And so whether that's what happened or whether there was genuinely just a sense that once they arrived on set, that once he arrived on set, that there was going to be a, that the character as written...

didn't really materialize.

So Helena Bonham Carter, I think a week or two ago, left production.

It seemed to be quite amicable.

It didn't seem like there was any kind of drama underneath it.

There was just a sense that the character as written for Helena Bonham Carter hadn't worked when they were actually putting it together.

So very quickly they needed to sort of pivot and find someone else to kind of step in and rewrite some of the show.

And there seems to have been rumors about Laura Dern kind of like entering the White Lotus universe in a real way for the last while.

But very quickly it was announced that Laura Dern was going to be stepping in.

We obviously won't know until we see the show in sort of like whether it's like a rewrite of the Helena Bonham Carter character, whether it's a new character, what it is.

But Laura Dern is now front and center within this cast.

And I think everyone is extremely exciting.
