So we definitely do have like the standard whip fridge, but what has happened is the tech has improved as they've got deeper and deeper and the shelves have got bigger.

And then there is a real psychological aspect to filling your fridge up, to keeping it full.

And when you look back at the adverts from the 1940s and 1950s that were selling fridges,

And you look at the headlines, you can see how that psychology develops.

So you've got things like one of the headlines was, look, a third more refrigerated food storage.

And the next one was, grandma, you've got everything.

You know, it was this whole mentality of...

Fridges allow you to have variety.

fridges full to the brim of stuff and i think you can't possibly eat all this and i do end up if i'm completely honest with that like pang of jealousy of like oh this is this is quite nice look at all these things it's like being in the supermarket you can have whatever you want exactly and there is that little like jealousy thing that i'm like it's weird why do i care that my fridge doesn't have anything in because that's great i'm not creating food waste but it is weird when friends come over that i'm thinking gosh i bet they expect me to have more food than this

Yeah, I was reading one of Emma's papers last night, actually, which was it had the concept of a fridge map.
