But yeah, I think it would see the the the recap, I guess, is that I my name's James Roffey.
Uh I class myself as a high performance and mindset coach.
Um that came about my business started what eighteen well about eighteen months ago.
So probably about the same time as we did the first podcast.
Um it kind of took me what thirty odd years to find
my my space in the world due to uh a lot of
Say tra trauma, up ups and downs, rejection.
Um long story short, it was mapped out that I was going to be professional footballer um early on in my life.
So I got scouted by Charlton Athletic at seven, played for them for ten years, got released at 17 before signing my professional contract, and that was like an eruption in my head of failure, rejection, complete identity loss, and I hadn't really
really had any trauma in my life prior to that and I dealt with it in a way of
taking back control and that ended up manifesting itself in the in the
in the form of an eating disorder.
So I started to do the restriction on food, excessive exercise.
I did that for eighteen months, um, and it was diagnosed as anorexia.
And but shortly after it was diagnosed, I then transitioned into bulimia where instead of the restriction of food, it was the binging on food and then making myself sick.
Um that
Plagued me for eight and a half years.
Um so it's kind of chapters seven to seventeen football, seventeen to twenty-seven eating disorder.
Um at twenty-one I was on life support um in hospital.
