My parents had to sign a a do-not resuscitate order.

Um due to the chronic uh making myself sick, I'd literally depleted every every

think in my body and my my my heart was failing, my kidneys were failing, my liver was failing.

I think they weighed me while I was in hospital as well.

And at yeah, twenty one I was five and a half stone, which is like forty one yeah, forty one kilos.

It's yeah, but it's really dang or literally it was the circle in the drain.

Like you you can't really get

more rock bottom than that, except not being here anymore.

Um and obviously that was the after that I was then put into a eating disorder unit where at twenty twenty one, twenty two, I was basically learning how to eat again, which again, I know everybody has to go go uh anyone that had an eating disorder has to go through that.

But back then, now we're talking mm nearly twenty years ago now, that

in s society's viewpoint it was deemed as a a woman's problem.

Back back then there's obviously there's a lot more

men are a little bit more open and it's far more prevalent within men.

The rise in it is is quicker than women now.

But obviously back then it was predominantly just seen as a as a woman's problem.

Um and it was like to to look at my life what it was, being the the popular kid.

Obviously I was like captain of everything and to then fast forward less than five years and I'm now sitting in an eating disorder unit watching all my friends on

Facebook, because that's how old I am, Instagram and Snapchat, and that weren't around then.

So it was like looking at all them and they're at uni and living their lives and going on lads' holidays and whatnot, and I'm learning how to eat again.
