for lack of a better term, like turned me on, like turned on my brain and made me feel excited.
And at the time, I didn't know it was going to be divorce law.
And then when I realized it was law, because I'd always enjoyed debate, extemporaneous speaking, and I have a performer streak, and I'm chatty, if you haven't figured that out already.
I wanted to be the strong, silent type, but it never worked out.
But I remember thinking, you know, if I could find a way to use
Sort of the core skill set of who I am, those very authentic aspects of self and make a living at it and help people ideally in the process that that would be amazing.
And somehow all of that converged in divorce law.
And now after a 25 plus year career, like I'm still as excited to go do that job every day as as I was the first day I did it.
So that's a really remarkable.
wonderful thing.
And I feel of all the things I'm grateful for and I'm grateful for a lot of things.
I feel like that might be the biggest thing other than health.
The fact that I love what I do for a living and I'm excited to do it by Sunday afternoon, I'm kind of like, oh, I can't wait to get back to it.
It's weird and wonderful.
Yeah, it's real.
Yeah.
Yeah, 50 plus years.
No, no.
Actually, I think this had the opposite effect, which is I I think when you're I was a hospice volunteer for many years and I I think we're most alive when we're in the presence of death.
Like when we when we think about the fact that life isn't permanent, we're most acutely grateful for it.
