Everyone's kind of had to keep it together.
Sometimes even the happiest marriage can be strained after having family over endlessly and the company holiday parties and all the stuff that you had to do, and all the debt you accumulated, buying your children, whatever the latest gadget is, and trying to get your spouse a thing that you thought they'd like, and then they didn't like it as much as you thought they like it.
And even if they did like it as much, you didn't feel as good as you thought you would.
