Like that sucks.
I'm really sorry that happened.
Like they just want connection, empathy, sympathy, you know, for you to hear and sort of like be present and hold space for their experience.
I never knew that.
I never knew that.
Most of the men I know, that's not how we, if I call a buddy of mine and tell him something that's going on in my life and he goes, man, that sucks.
I'd be like, well, what?
Like, I want him to be like, all right, dude, well, here's what you should do, you know?
Like, you know what, that happened to me and here's what I did.
Like, cause we're very linear and problem solving and God bless.
Like this is why the polarity is wonderful, you know, between men and women or even, you know, in same sex couples, same thing.
You always have polarity in relationship.
I just think that, you know, it's not that hard to like build exercises into our relationship.
A lot of my book is about,
how to invite your partner in non-dramatic ways to having a conversation, like to just leaving each other a note, sending each other an email, like having a weekly walk and talk where you're like, just, you know, tell me three things I did right this week.
You know, like it's so easy.
It costs nothing.
And why wouldn't you do?
