And I'll get to that in my third point.
The second one was cost, right?
So cost is always a concern for businesses, whether that's real or perceived.
So a lot of cases, perception is reality.
So whether that is a real cost or a perceived cost, it needs to be overcome.
So if you go back to the recent Fed business payment study,
It said that 53% of businesses believe that the cost to adopt faster payments would be too burdensome.
And that 42% said that current payment systems are sufficient.
So that's a huge percentage to overcome, whether it's real or perceived, is changing that mind.
And then the final point was cashflow, right?
With the small businesses especially, there's two types of, I'll specify large business and small business because the cashflow aspect could be a little bit different in both of them.
For the small business, which typically have to manage their cashflow very closely, being able to issue a check
gives the business more control of when those funds actually leave the account.
You know, we've all heard the saying the check is in the mail.
Yep.
So there's that there's that delay that gives me either a little bit more time to make sure that the cash is in the account or I can hold on to that cash a little bit longer.
And where that becomes important is in the large businesses, because if I have a lot of cash, typically I'm not letting it sit in an account.
I'm earning interest somewhere.
So I can earn another day or two of interest, whether that's a few thousand dollars or one hundred thousand dollars.
