They're always friendly.
They have perfect recall of everything you've said.
You can talk to them about anything you want.
They're never judgmental.
They give you the illusion of being helpful and caring, and they flatter your ego.
Highly addictive, especially for young people or people going through any type of distress.
And we're just letting them out into the world.
It's not that hard in a way.
It's like, you know the safety rules we have when we release new medicines or new consumer products even that fire safety tests when you're selling new televisions and stuff.
There's tests you have to go through.
Can we just have some tech?
Can we just have a similar system here?
These things have got to be tested before we're allowed to use them.
It doesn't seem that impossible.
I totally agree.
And it's like we went through a pandemic and loads of people are suddenly very lonely and they're on their own.
And then these models turn up and they can talk to you all day if you want.
And I could write a book saying, no, let's not worry about these models.
Let's fix the National Health Service so everyone can see a therapist.
I wish that would be the case, but I don't think it is, unfortunately.
