So my worry isn't that there's not the know-how.
It's that any know-how is sort of washed away in this desperate grasping for growth and thinking that AI is going to be the way to do it.
The reality is companies have spent billions of dollars already investing in these large language models for their companies, but they're not actually seeing loads of returns yet because they hallucinate.
Or people are using them to generate vast amounts of slop, which their colleagues in the office then have to read through and think, is thisβ¦

I can't get any of my actual work done.
So a lot of companies are investing vast amounts of money, but they're not actually seeing any productivity gains as we're promised.
It's way more difficult to introduce a large language model into companies.
to a company and then see these amazing changes.
It's not that simple.
It takes years actually to do this.
So my fear is not the lack of expertise.
It's that the expertise is drowned out in our desperate quest to grow through AI.
And I'm worried about that.
