Okay.
Secretary of Treasury, I would consider, if a president calls you up and asks you to do something, you should consider it.
So I would take the call and consider it and think about why and what they want, etc.
The question is only about when certain things take place, and think of lawsuits and stuff like that, does it chip away at that independence to some spectrum?
So you can say a little bit, you can say a lot, but you don't want to chip away too much, because if you chip away too much, in my view, this is my opinion, it will drive rates higher, not lower.

I don't agree with everything the Fed has done.
I do have enormous respect for Jay Powell, the man.
In the short run, call it six months and nine months and even a year, you know, it's pretty positive.
You know, consumers have money.
There's still jobs, even though it's weakened a little bit.
There's a huge, there is a lot of stimulus coming from one big, beautiful bill.
Dimon runs the country's largest bank.
He's publicly supported the Fed and Chair Jerome Powell for months as President Trump has pressured the central bank to lower interest rates.
Most business leaders have stayed silent this week.
since the Justice Department opened a new front in those attacks with its criminal probe.
But during a conference call with journalists to discuss JPMorgan Chase's latest financial results, Dimon reiterated his support for Powell.
He added that political interference with the Fed would cause inflation and interest rates to go up.
