Everyone's expecting Connor Hellebuck to be on the move.

Zach Wierenski seems like he's up next.

I mean, getting that taste of winning for the guys who haven't been on Florida, right, who haven't been winning cups, getting that taste of winning and knowing specifically, I can win with these guys, or I think I can win with these guys.

I think that's a huge driving factor here.

Like, I think it's very notable that...

no one has said like, I want to go to Dallas.

And it's like, that's a perennial cup contending team with great weather, no taxes.

They don't have guys in the club.

Like Jason Robertson is not on that team.

So he's like not a part of the club, even though he's a fantastic American player.

And that's not to say that it has no larger implications for Canadian teams going forward.

But like, I wouldn't let this stop me from drafting chase Reed.

Cause he's not friends with these guys.

He's not part of the same group that these guys are.

I think the other and somebody just texted in JJ from Fiji of all places.

There were three Americans on the 96 World Cup of Hockey roster who played on Canadian teams, one on the 2002 Olympic roster and two on the 2010 team.

He says the anomalous part is the fact that there were so many great American players on Canadian teams recently, not that American players want to play in the States.

I mean, that's not a bad shout, right?

There is just a kind of like coincidence that we've seen a ton of great American players playing for Canadian teams over the last five to 10 years.
