And there, you know for sure they're trying to intercept and read your communication, your signals, because they have technologies to do that.
That's what it's all about.
This is competition, right?
This is what is happening in the arena of competition.
Absolutely.
This is exactly right.
And it seems, though, that...
we've both worked professional football, we're not denigrating anyone.
And I know many analysts that would agree with this, but I don't speak on behalf of all analysts by any means.
But a lot of analysts would say, yeah, it's become kind of easy to analyze an opponent football team.
Again, that doesn't mean it's easy to stop.
It doesn't mean you're going to beat them.
That's not the same thing.
But to understand their tendencies, their patterns, and decode how they are communicating, what are their intentions, what are the principles they use,
It's relatively straightforward.
And I'm not trying to denigrate things here, but I just think it's true that it's relatively straightforward.
So I think what I'm very interested in is the possibilities and the ways that coaches or theorists or whoever you are, people thinking about football, practicing football, how can we develop attacking strategies that are not so simple for players
analysts to decode and therefore for the defensive players to decode in real time on the pitch and negate the actions and give some more surprising and spontaneous and novel
actions during the attacking phase, which can be effective, obviously, in scoring goals.
