And this is great because this is feedback, right?
This is feedback loop.
This is what is happening.
And I don't want to derail this conversation because I want to keep it practical.
And there's a couple more practical points I think we can really get into here.
They're super interesting about perception and trickery and all these things, deception, vagueness, what you've been talking about.
But something is always pertinent in my mind when we're talking about communication.
Like I say, I don't want to sidetrack this.
but there's this looming specter, always for me, of cybernetics.
Now, cybernetics is a relatively complex idea.
This is not a podcast about the history of cybernetics.
But for me, it's important just to cite, for example, we can read Inverting the Pyramid by Jonathan Wilson, and it is explicitly cited by Wilson, not that he's the oracle or the god of all truth of football, but it's interesting that when he talks about
the beginning, let's say, of modern tactical paradigms, for example, with Lobanovsky in Kiev and his methods, he cites the cybernetic work that was going on or the development of cybernetics and the technological advancements.
He cites those influences on Lobanovsky's tactical thinking.
