But it seems to me that you can measure playing against momentum.

How many opponent players at the time of the pass is released are moving in the opposite horizontal axis of the pass direction?

Something like that.

So for the receiver, and I want to get to something that you actually gave a name for when we were talking about the whole relationism thing with diagonals and the quarter loose and the dummy when the ball goes through the guy's legs.

I think it's always a really nice name for this.

I think we can take it even further and say, OK, when a player is receiving the ball, let's think about their body orientation.

Let's think about the signals they are sending.

So let's say, just paint a little picture here, even make it a vertical pass.
