I was like, does Sharia law really condone...
You know, because we see stuff in mass media and I know nothing about what the Quran actually says or about, you know, the Sharia law.
And it was like, yeah, that it says that if the wife steps out of line, that they can have physical disciplinary action.
I was like, oh.
Really does say that.
But it's... We can have cousin marriage here.

Well, and it's become a big thing in the UK because of their Pakistani, their migrant population.
Well, I did see this, so I did a little bit of deep diving into it.
I don't know what the numbers are in the UK, but if you marry your cousin and have a child with your first cousin, the chance of birth defects and disabilities, it doubles.
It's double the risk.
which is pretty huge.
And apparently, yeah, the NHS and stuff in the UK has released some information to say that the stats are trending that way because they've just had such an increase in cousin marriage in the UK.
So anyway, I want to outlaw cousin marriage in Australia.
