Like we were never trying to find a headline.
Obviously, if there were catchy things they said that would make a good two or three minute reel, well, then that gets engagement.
But that's benefiting them as much as it was benefiting our growth.
But, yeah, very interesting.
But one thing I think has surprised me more than the relationships directly with politicians, of which some of them I would call friends now.
There are some real legendary people in the game and there's also some very disappointing ones.
But the thing that shocked me is mass media.
I cannot believe, knowing the news stories behind the article like I do, how much I see a news headline and I'm like...
Why did you release that?
One of the ones recently, and I never defend Albo, okay, but one of the ones in the last couple of months you would have seen it, there was a week where all the newspaper headlines said, Albo pockets $57,000 pay rise.
And man, people ran with it on social media.
Everyone was commenting, producing reels.
I was like, no, he hasn't.
I was like, how have they used that?
Then you read in the article and you do a bit of background digging and what it was was that he was earning $57,000 more now or early 2026 as compared with when he went into office in 2022.
But, man, they just want that clickbait, right?
So it sounds way better to say Albo Pockets $57,000 pay rise.
But that was just a really silly example that came to my head of how much they'll go for that headline.
I think mass media has got a lot to answer for.
I really do.
