you know, perfect sort of teenage, like nonchalance, know it all.
Like I was just Meadow, you know what I mean?
In that way.
And she very much was an escape for me.
She was kind of like my Sasha Fierce.
Like when I stepped into Meadow's shoes, I was confident.
I knew what I was saying.
I didn't care who I was offending.
I was smarter than everyone in the room.
Like Meadow was the opposite of me.
And so getting to play her, I think,
saved me in a lot.
And I told David Chase, our creator, that at our last SAG Awards, which I knew was like our last big event as a family with the show, I pulled him aside and I was always so, you know, trepidatious with him and I kept my distance because he was sort of, you know, our God and like I was always wanting to be under the radar, right, and never found out.
So I never really engaged much, but I took the opportunity and I just said, you know,
I obvious reasons how this show will affect me forever in my career, but I cannot tell you how grateful I am to have had this experience for the last 10 years.
It saved me.
This was my family.
I had a place to come to no matter what was going through in my life.
Like no matter what was happening, like I always had the Sopranos to come back to.
