Now you've covered this uh quite a bit, um you and your team uh out of London, um more than I have.

I was around during the Clinton years when President Clinton

um was playing a role on the Good Friday Agreement.

I know Alistair Campbell and Jonathan Powell and Tony Blair very well who played crucial roles in the agreement.

And I felt it was one of the great acts of diplomacy of our time to find a way to end the the troubles in um Northern Ireland and find a solution that was able to marry the desire of those in

Northern Ireland who wanted to stay part of the UK with those uh in Northern Ireland who wanted to be associated uh with the country of Ireland.

It's complicated.

It's controversial.

But a way has been found to end that war and to end the terrorism and end the horror.

And it's based on the idea that it's up to the people of Northern Ireland to decide their future.

And they get to decide whether they're united.

with Ireland or stay united with the British uh uh you know the United Kingdom.

And I I don't think it's helpful to

intervene.
