Straight away, me and Brodie got onto the phone together and are really excited to head back over there to New Zealand, represent Australia with Chas, and try and go one better and win this thing.
So I'm super excited for that.
I just think it was... The event over there was so... The event in Australia was so cool, but I really hope... Well, I think the New Zealand fans will get behind it massively.
We know they love their motorsport over there.
It's a short trip for Aussies to get over, and I think it's an event that if...
you are ever thinking of going to an event out there.
If you thought, I want to go, I've done supercars, I've done the F1 event in Australia or anything like that, I don't think anything can beat the atmosphere of racing inside a stadium.
I'd never experienced it before till we raced in Sydney that year.
And unfortunately, the stadium wasn't packed out.
But I think if we can see it packed out in New Zealand, it'll be something like we sort of haven't experienced before.
yeah i'd agree we had an awesome time down there and it had sort of been in discussion a little bit and we just hadn't put it into motion at any time so had uh you had an awesome time down there and then that's probably around the time that it started to uh come to fruition i think you call it but uh yeah it was uh
I don't know.
To be honest, that was probably one of my, still my highlights of my career, one of the best racing weekends of my career so far.
And there's a few reasons to that.
It's serious, but it's also fun.
You know, when we go racing in supercars now, it is fun, but you're there to do a job.
And if you don't win, generally, you don't enjoy it that much.
But, uh, you know, you sort of, not that you don't enjoy it, you do enjoy it, but you're thinking, oh God, I've got to try and get a win next time and this and that.
But, uh, I think race of champions is all about people going there, they're competitive and, and all of that, but, uh, they all want to have a good time.
Yeah, that's right.
