We have these programs that fit into prevention and also building a survivor community that has support so healing can happen and then justice trying to get the laws.

Yes.
And um That's locking.
Yeah, holding perpetrators accountable and also having, you know, resources for survivors to heal.
And um
know it's a proven fact that we lose out on a on a couple million dollars over our lifetimes because of childhood trauma and abuse.
So those are the things that we're working on and we want a lot of people to just know that they're welcome.
Come as you are, where you are, and let's heal together, let's advocate together, let's let's change public policy together.
And we need a lot of voices to do that and support.
So I'm just honored to tell my story and be here.

Hi, I'm Jan Brober.
My life has been full of a lot of different experiences that have led me to where I am today.
Uh, I was born in Pocatello, Idaho, small community, knew all of our neighbors, had a wonderful childhood with a wonderful, you know,
the neighbors, the congregation, my sisters, my parents.
Just I grew up in a lovely you know
neighborhood, a time of life where you went out on your bikes on Saturday morning with all your friends from the neighborhood and you went to the park and you went to one person's house for lunch and you came maybe home with all the friends for dinner at yours and nobody ever worried.
